About us

A small studio that takes weekly cooking seriously.

Phoryzenvod began in a shared Beverly Hills kitchen in 2019, when three friends — a pastry chef, a market gardener and a cookbook editor — realized most meal planning was either too rigid or too generic. We started writing menus the way we wished someone had written them for us: short, specific, and friendly to the way real weeknights actually unfold.

Today our planners build hundreds of weekly menus a month for households across California. Each plan is reviewed by a human, never auto-generated, and refined based on feedback you send back.

What guides us

Three quiet principles behind every plan we publish.

Respect for your time

If a recipe needs more than the window you gave us, it doesn't ship. We test for realism before flavor experiments.

Seasonal first

We build around what's in season at California markets so produce tastes the way it should and costs less.

Plain writing

No mystery measurements, no buzzwords. Steps are written for someone cooking with one hand on a phone.
